Toast of the Town 2022
On October 6, Toast of the Town, TechTown’s annual fundraiser, will celebrate Detroit’s entrepreneurs and the role they play in creating a truly equitable economy. For the first time since 2019, the event is back in person for an indoor/outdoor experience that will showcase Detroit’s emerging startups and coolest small businesses from 5:30–9:00 PM at TechTown. Catalyst Angel Program
TechTown is accepting participants on a rolling basis for the Catalyst Angel Program through March 31, 2024. This program helps angel investors who identify as Black, Latinx, and/or women maximize their investment strategies. Learn more and complete an interest form.

Gilbert Family Foundation Launches Venture 313
The Gilbert Family Foundation launched a three-year, $10 million commitment that will directly fund Detroit-based startups, aid the creation of a web-based guidance platform for entrepreneurs, and support other innovation programming. Founding partners for this initiative include Invest Detroit, TechTown Detroit, and the Detroit Development Fund. Learn more.
