This needs assessment will inform our approach to sequencing services to improve innovator readiness and build a pipeline of qualified healthcare innovators as well as guide how we share news and program information. MedHealth Summit Returning on November 1

Planning efforts are underway for this year’s MedHealth Summit! You can anticipate a mixture of curated matchmaking and talks from inspiring speakers like we’ve had in years past. Expect to see more information in your inbox within the next few weeks!

MedHealth at HLTH 2022

MedHealth will be at a kiosk in the Startup Pavilion during the HLTH conference in November. This four-day event will bring together individuals from the entire health field to learn about innovation in the healthcare industry. Learn more and register.

Save the Date for MedHealth Webinar with the National Institute of Health

On October 20 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM, MedHealth will cohost a webinar with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for innovators and researchers interested in working with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences. More information will be available soon.

Henry Ford Health Detroit Supplier Diversity Day

Henry Ford Health invites Wayne County–based businesses to participate in their Supplier Diversity Day on September 23. This event will give businesses an opportunity to meet with Henry Ford Health team members that buy and source products and services. Learn more and register.

Loyola Chicago Health Equity Quest

Loyola University Chicago’s Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health and MATTER are seeking solutions that address health disparities and climate change. Learn more and apply by September 23.

Downtown Boxing Gym UnGala

The Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program provides free academic and athletic programs to students that make a life-changing impact. XLerateHealth Pre-accelerator Program

The eight-week XLerateHealth Pre-accelerator program supports early-stage entrepreneurs who have an idea or product and would like to learn how to commercialize it. Learn more and apply.

Small-business Innovation Research Contract Proposals Solicitation

Save the Date for Toast of the Town 2022

TechTown Detroit’s annual Toast of the Town event will be held on October 6. More information will be announced soon! Check out last year’s event in the meantime.

Start Studio Applications Opening Soon

On August 29, TechTown Detroit will begin accepting applications for its tech-based startup program, Start Studio. Applications are due by September 12. Learn more about the program.

PR Tradecraft: The Pro Secrets to Effective Media Pitching

Catalyst Angel Program

TechTown is accepting participants on a rolling basis for the Catalyst Angel Program through March 31, 2024. This program helps angel investors who identify as Black, Latinx, and/or a woman maximize their investment strategies. Learn more and complete an interest form.
