Labrador Systems: Enabling Independent Living Through a New Kind of Best Friend

Labrador Retrievers are obedient and intelligent and are oftentimes natural service animals. What could a Labrador Retriever and a robot possibly have in common?

Labrador Systems believes that these same characteristics can be modeled in robotics technologies to support people with limited mobility. We spoke with the company’s vice president of client services, Kerry Huffman, to learn how this innovation will help more people live independently and about a crucial connection they made with University of Michigan–Flint at the MedHealth Mixer.
